Reverend Leslie Dalstra

I am a native of St. Louis, Missouri.  I attended Indiana University for my undergraduate studies where I earned a BA with a double major in Religious Studies and History (with honors).  My junior year was spent in Canterbury, England at the University of Kent.  I attended Eden Theological Seminary for a Masters of Divinity degree and was ordained in the Mid-America Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) at Webster Groves CC in May of 1999.  I have served churches in Missouri and Texas prior to moving to Iowa.

I am married to my fabulous husband, Dan Dalstra (who happens to be a rock star photographer and photojournalist).  My daughter Eva is a student at Iowa State (Go State!), and my son is a student at FMHS (Go Bloodhounds!).  We also have three pets, Naomi and Bodhi (our dogs)  Papi Chulo (a kitten we found at Taco Bell!),and Kai ( a rescue from New Mexico who understands English and Spanish!)  Our house is rarely quiet and is often busy!
