Presentation for families on July 16 at 5:30 pm with reception following.
This camp is open to all children who have completed 4th-8th grade this school year. This year campers will choose two classes that will run consecutively every day.

Morning Classes
Sun catchers
In this class campers will create their own sun catcher. Using their own creativity with colors and shapes. Taught by Jana Hubbs and Kelly Siegfried
acrylic Painting
In this class campers will explore painting with acrylic paints, creating something uniquely their own. This class is taught by Tatum Peters.
Painted Pots
In this class campers will explore design on a 3-D surface exploring shapes and contrasts as they paint a pot with the option to plant a plant. This class is taught by Dawn Willson.
Culinary 1
In this class campers will learn how to make French toast and homemade whipped cream, along with cooking bacon and scrambled eggs. Using locally sourced ingredients with an emphasis on sustainability. Leslie & Harry Dalstra will be teaching this class.
Culinary 2
In this class campers will learn to make homemade pasta, a variety of sauces and side dishes for lunch on Wednesday. Using locally sourced ingredients with an emphasis on sustainability. Leslie & Harry Dalstra will be teaching this class.
percussion
In this class campers will learn the basics of rhythm by using percussion instruments in a group setting. This class is taught by Nano Patino.
Afternoon Classes
Photography
In this class campers will learn from the award winning photographer, Dan Dalstra. In this course they will learn perspective, lighting, editing, and portraiture.
Pencil shading drawing
In this class the campers will learn the art of using graphite to build light and shadow, turning flat drawings into 3D objects. We will focus on three concepts: pressure control, shading techniques, and understanding how light works to create shades pencil drawings. Taught by Kelly Siegfried
Watercolor Painting & Baking
In this class the campers will focus on water control, the “light-to-dark” rule, and basic blending. Simple steps: teach water-to-pigment ratios, and guide students through exercises like “wet-on-wet” blending to help the campers understand how the paint naturally flows. On the third day the class will learn the basics of baking along with making charcuterie boards. Class is taught by Kelly Siegfried & Tatum Peters.
Sewing
In this class campers will learn basic stitching as they create their own creature out of scrap material, exploring symmetry and design. Class is taught by Deb Kramer.
